We appreciate your willingness to help us during the very busy time in Hayward, and in the Birkie Office specifically.
Working the Birkie Office requires training. An invite for this will be sent out later. You MUST attend the training on Wednesday, February 11 at the Sherman & Ruth Weiss Community Library to work this position. Being an Office Volunteer requires knowledge not only of the over-all event schedule and details, but also helping answer phone calls, walk-in questions, as well as the possibility of wringing up sales in the Birkie Store - where these shifts take place. Birkie Office Volunteer shifts are Password Protected.
While some training can be done the day-of your shift, there are Event Specifics that will be shared in a group setting, prior to the start of the Birkie Office shifts starting.
Please reach out to Jane Flygstad, Volunteer Coordinator of the American Birkebeiner, for more information on the Training and Volunteering in the Birkie Office, by emailing: jane.flygstad@birkie.com
Upon Registering to Volunteer at ANY American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation Events or Programs, Volunteers Agree to Abide by the Code of Conduct.
Thank you for volunteering! ❄️
