Telemark Ascent

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the first ever Telemark Ascent - a mountain bike race hosted by the American Birkebeiner. Hosting events in a pandemic provides unique opportunities to volunteer, so we require all volunteers to wear face-masks during their shift, and in common areas. Please maintain a safe social distance of 6' or more. Temperatures will be taken of all volunteers and staff. If you are not feeling well, do not attend the event.
Event Details:
Masks will be required at all times in start, finish, and all common areas
Time starts when rider crosses start line. Riders may start anytime within the 5 minute start corral
Riders, are not required to wear a mask once on the course and while racing, however, rider must have a mask on their person in case of emergency
No aid stations
No spectators allowed in start and finish areas
Drive-Through Bike Plate Pick-up in the Parking Lot!
No frills, but it’s racing!
The Mt. Telemark Ascent event is limited to the first 200 riders!
