Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation during the 5 Days of Events for the Birkie Week of Events, taking place February 24 - 28, 2021, beginning and ending at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead in Cable.
Working with our local health officials we're promoting outside events, where participants are keeping active whilst maintaining physical distance, and a healthy lifestyle. While we strive to provide the opportunities, we do so keeping the health and safety of our volunteers, participants, our communities and staff at the forefront. With that in mind, volunteer numbers will be limited. We ask all volunteers wear a face-mask, and in some cases plastic gloves, and to maintain a minimum of 6' physical distance from others. We do request all volunteers submit a medical self-screening to insure overall health, and if at all possible a negative COVID-19 test.
We remain flexible in our planning and preparations, working with local health officials, while hosting an event that is challenging, exhilarating and safe. Each day of events strive to provide the same great service and support to our participants.
