Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation as we host North America's Largest Cross Country Ski Race - the Slumberland American Birkebeiner, taking place Saturday, February 25th, 2023.

Beginning at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead in Cable, WI; participants ski the 50K Skate or 54K Classic trails all the way to Hayward's Main Street.
With several Aid Stations and Medical Support options along the course and at the finish, there are lots of opportunities to volunteer.
Some locations may require a special Access or Vehicle Pass ahead of your shift.  You will be notified, when and where to pick one up; otherwise, some passes may be emailed to you and need to be printed down.

Please scroll down to see available shifts for the Slumberland American Birkebeiner.  To select a shift, click the checkbox beside the date and time detail.  Then scroll down to enter your personal information.  Be sure to click the "Register to Volunteer" button to submit your request.  You will receive regular emails leading up to the volunteer shift and event.  Any changes or important information will be emailed ahead of time, so please make sure we are in your 'approved senders' email list, to receive those messages within your Inbox, and not a junk folder or spam filter.
