We appreciate your willingness to help us during the very busy time in Hayward, and in the Birkie Office specifically.
Working the Birkie Office requires training. Not only of the over-all event schedule and details, but also helping answer phone calls, walk-in questions, as well as the possibility of wringing up sales in the Birkie Store - where these shifts take place. Thus, all Birkie Office Volunteer shifts are Password Protected.
Please let us know if you are interested in attending a Training Session, Friday, February 16th, in order to Volunteer for the Birkie Office shifts. While some training can be done the day-of your shift. There are Event Specifics that will be held in a group setting, prior to the start of the Birkie Office shifts starting. Which will take some extra coordination and planning.
Please reach out to Ronda Tworek, Director of Volunteers for the American Birkebeiner for more information on the Training and Volunteering in the Birkie Office, by emailing: ronda.tworek@birkie.com
