Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the American Birkebeiner, for the Lumberjack Run 5k, taking place Saturday, August 3, beginning and ending at the Historic Lumberjack Bowl in conjunction with the Lumberjack World Championships.**  

This fun 5k Run/Walk is a great time for the whole family.  Traversing the City streets of Hayward, for a finish within the Lumberjack Bowl, ahead of the final day of Competition*.     Please note all Lumberjack Run volunteers must be off site before Main Gates open at 11am, unless volunteering for a Saturday morning shift for LWC.  Thank you for your understanding.  

Course Control, Registration and Water Station assistance is needed for the Lumberjack Run 5k.  If you're able to join us, please scroll down for available shifts, and click the checkbox beside the date/time that fits your schedule and skill-set.  Then scroll down to enter your personal information.  Be sure to click the 'Register to Volunteer' button to submit your request.
